The SARUS Festival is open to all genres of art, including but not limited to: performance art, visual art, dance, theatre, digital arts, sound art, sculpture, music, and installations. We also accept applications for visual art, talks, presentations, films, readings, etc.
The applications will be looked at thoroughly by our directors, who will make a final decision on the programming. If you are accepted to participate in SARUS Festival you will be contacted via email.

We currently have no funding, please keep in mind that we do not have funds to compensate anyone at this point.

All accepted projects have to be performed/presented on the dates of the festival as announced in the application materials below. All people included in your project have to be available and on site at that time.

This year's topics are <Disorientation><Dislocation><Digestion> and should be part of your artwork in some way.
If you want to apply for SARUS FESTIVAL  August 24-27, 2023 we suggest that you submit your application no later than May 15th, 2018. Chances of getting in decrease greatly after that deadline. However, we do consider applications until August 15th, 2023.

The left column of this application focuses on tech details.
The right column is all about promotional materials, program notes, website etc. Please make sure that all text is ready to be published and does not require any editing or corrections.

I agree to abide by any decision of an Event official with respect to my ability to safely participate in the Events or if medical attention is necessary in connection with my participation in the Events. I agree that I, my heirs, assigns, legal representatives or anyone else entitled to act on my behalf hereby waives and releases AEDC and SARUS Festival and its officers, directors, employees, representatives, volunteers, collaborators and subcontractors from all present and future claims and liabilities of any kind, known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with my participation in the Events, and that neither I nor my heirs, assigns, legal representatives nor anyone else entitled to act on my behalf will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against AEDC or its members, officers, representatives, volunteers, collaborators, subcontractors or agents for any personal damage/loss, property damage, loss or theft of personal belongings or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise on the part of AEDC, its collaborators or any third party.
